Mitsubishi Motors Creates A New Sales and Marketing Operation İn Europe…

To support and assist with Mitsubishi Motors’ renewed sales ambitions in Europe, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) has set-up a new Sales and Marketing organization in the Netherlands which is in addition to its current After Sales, Parts and Logistics business in the region.

Mitsubishi Motors Europe’s (MME)* first building block is a new performance and customer-orientated organization, which is split between two different locations in The Netherlands. A new office in Amstelveen near Amsterdam will house the MME Sales and Marketing division, along with Legal department and PR activities. This will also be the base for the President and CEO’s office. This new office is in addition to the current After Sales, Finance, Human Resources and IT operations divisions which are located in Born, near Maastricht and is also home to the 55,000 sqm European Parts Centre.

Under the leadership of the President and CEO of MME Bernard Loire, MME welcomes a new Executive Management Team which consists of Frank Krol – Sales Director, Alex Thomas – Marketing Director and Ganesh Jawahar – After Sales Director.

New Electric Vehicle department


In addition to the new Sales and Marketing division, a dedicated “Electric Vehicle” department has been created to enhance Mitsubishi Motors position as a market leader for electrified vehicles. This position was established with the launch of the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV in Europe in 2013.

This is a major organizational step for MMC’s electro-mobility initiatives in Europe and will become a vital part in delivering an extended range of electrified SUVs which will be launched over the coming years.

Guillaume Cartier, Senior Vice President – Global Marketing & Sales, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation said, “From a global perspective, Europe is a very unique market – not the largest in volume but definitely the one that sets the tone in terms of regulations, quality, technology and design.”

He added, “It was then obvious to us that we have to strengthen our organization in this region to meet the challenge, in preparation for the launch of our next wave of electrified SUVs. We are confident Bernard Loire and his new Mitsubishi Motors Europe team will be properly equipped for that.”
