Jeep is taking its ‘Go Anywhere, Do Anything’ credentials into millions of British homes after confirming a sponsorship agreement with a leading TV channel’s adventure series.
Channel 4’s ‘Adventures on 4’ selection of programmes form the basis for the sponsorship in which models from Jeep’s award-winning range of cars will be shown before, during and after popular TV shows such as Hunted, Treasure Island With Bear Grylls, Celebrity Treasure Island, Going Native, and Guy Martin D-Day.
The first car to be featured will be the new Jeep Renegade – tonight on Channel 4 at 9pm, with Hunted. The short film clips shown around the TV show perfectly illustrate Renegade’s style and road presence as the car tackles a typical urban street scenario.
However, the link with Channel 4’s adventure series will resonate with thousands of potential Jeep customers who wish to push themselves to new limits and challenges in a car that can get them where they want to be. The idents finish with the words ‘Adventures on 4 sponsored by New Jeep Renegade’.
“Jeep is the original adventure brand, so this sponsorship agreement is a perfect fit for us,” says Andrew Tracey, Marketing Director, Jeep UK. “Channel 4’s Adventures on 4 shows are hugely popular, just like Jeep, and we are sure that this sponsorship will help to bring many more adventurous people into the Jeep family.”
Rupinder Downie, Partnership Controller, Channel 4 says: “The programmes in the “Adventures on 4″ strand couldn’t be better suited to Jeep’s bold spirit so we’re delighted that Jeep has chosen to work with Channel 4 on this exciting sponsorship.”
Since its launch in 2015, more than 24,400 Jeep Renegades have been sold in the UK. Prices for the new 2019 Renegade start at £19,700 for the Sport variant, rising to £31,400 for the top-of-the-range Trailhawk.
Channel 4 is the UK’s second largest commercial TV network in the UK.
