PEUGEOT is once again demonstrating its commitment to tennis with a 2019 communication campaign focused on the future of the brand. The new campaign showcases PEUGEOT’s strategy of projecting itself into a new automotive era against the backdrop of the energy transition.
The campaign is being revealed for the first grand slam tournament of the tennis year. Two films feature two of PEUGEOT’s nine ambassador tennis players embodying the brand’s values of allure, exacting standards and emotion.
Alexander Zverev, the German player currently ranked number four in the world and having won the Nitto ATP Finals, is associated with the future PEUGEOT 508 SW PLUG-IN HYBRID. Lucas Pouille, the number-two French player, is associated with the PEUGEOT 508 PLUG-IN HYBRID saloon.
The two films were filmed in London and are produced by the Willie Beamen agency. They draw parallels between the past of PEUGEOT and the players and their exciting futures. Alexander Zverev and Lucas Pouille draw on their past experiences and drive them with a creative backhand to build an innovative future.
The PEUGEOT 508 PLUG-IN HYBRID SW and saloon were revealed at the Paris Motor Show in October 2018 and will be launched in autumn 2019. The new plug-in hybrid engines are a clear illustration of PEUGEOT’s vision of unrestricted, exciting and ever-more efficient driving. Bringing motorists an easy-to-use technology, they embody a controlled innovation aimed at providing heightened sensations at the wheel.
