Invicta Motors dealer group appointed to represent Suzuki…

Suzuki GB PLC is pleased to announce that it has appointed Invicta Motors to represent the brand in Maidstone. This brings the total number of dealerships in the county of Kent to six and is the sixth new location to start trading this year within the vehicle manufacturer’s now 160-strong UK dealer network.

The spacious seven-car Invicta Motors Suzuki showroom, which is situated on Sutton Road, one of the main thoroughfares leading into Maidstone, will serve motorists in a catchment area spanning Bearsted to Aylesford. The existing premises in Parkwood have been redesigned to create a welcoming and contemporary setting for prospective and existing Suzuki customers. Visitors are hosted by Invicta’s friendly and knowledgeable sales team who are there to help guide buyers around the new car model range, which counts the latest generation Suzuki Swift Sport hot hatch, as well as the facelifted Vitara compact SUV and Jimny 4×4 models.

Motorists can equally peruse a large selection of Suzuki Approved Used cars on the exterior forecourt and discuss leasing requirements with a dedicated Motability Scheme representative. For added convenience, there are on-site parts and servicing departments, with an eight-bay workshop and MOT facilities also forming part of the premises.

Dale Wyatt, Director of Automobile at Suzuki GB PLC, said: “We are delighted to welcome the highly respected Invicta Motors dealer group to our network. They will play a crucial role in helping to grow our footprint in Kent, whilst also filling this strategic open point which was left vacant earlier this year due to the retirement of the previous franchisee. The opening of the new showroom once again gives the town’s motorists convenient access to our products, as well as the opportunity to get behind the wheel without having to travel a significant distance.”

Darren Murphy, Dealer Principal of Invicta Motors Suzuki, explained: “This is the first time that Invicta Motors has added the Suzuki brand to its portfolio, and the high demand for its products, thanks to the key product attributes of affordability, great value and low emissions, presented us with a strong business case for taking on the new franchise. Furthermore, with Invicta Motors having an established and loyal customer base from the offset, this means that we have a great head start as we get the new franchise off the ground. We look forward to a successful and long-term relationship with Suzuki.”
