Rüsselsheim. Pascal Martens will take over the management of the light commercial vehicle business at Opel and its British sister brand Vauxhall on November 1. The manager with many years of international experience in the automotive business is currently Director Sales, Customer Care & Aftersales Europe at Opel/Vauxhall. As Director Light Commercial Vehicles Opel/Vauxhall, he succeeds Tobias Stöver, who has been appointed Director Marketing Peugeot Germany. In his new role, Martens will report to Xavier Duchemin, Managing Director Sales, Aftersales and Marketing at Opel.

In our PACE! strategic plan, we have set ourselves the goal of increasing our light commercial vehicle sales by more than 25 percent by 2022. Martens studied commercial engineering at the University of Hasselt (Belgium) and holds a master’s degree from the Lisbon School of Economics & Management. Martens started his career with General Motors in Portugal in 1994. The multi-lingual manager has also successfully completed assignments in Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, Russia and Germany. He has held the position of Director Sales, Customer Care & Aftersales Europe at Opel in Rüsselsheim since 2016.
